Monochrome as a means of producing imagery allows for different moods to be expressed, for example the dramatic imagery conveyed by these newspaper segments is contrasted by my doodles which give a much lighter feel to the image. This alludes to the question what is illustration by juxtaposing two different techniques to create two different effects.
