Fedrigoni Front Page

I haven't posted any work for a while because I've been very uninspired and had lots of things going on. However, the last few days I've been working hard on my new project, trying to catch up. I'm hoping this will continue so be prepared for some new work =)

My project is to create a paper sample booklet for the paper company Fedrigoni. They cater to high end fashion companies, boutique stores and large businesses. I'm basing the book around a relationship between people, fashion and nature. This idea came from an advert I saw in Varoom Magazine posted by Fedrigoni advertising that their company is 'greener' than ever. I'm excited about this project but it's been a very slow start.

This is my first paper cut for the book, which took me 4 hours and killed my shoulder/back as I insisted in doing it all in one go this afternoon. It is in preparation for a screen print which I'm hoping to do next Friday. I've never done one before so I'm quite excited. The black is the part that will show up in printing, so I've inverted the image to see which I prefer... But to be honest I can't decide at the moment. I'm also wondering whether to do some layers behind it, some kind of pattern. (Baring in mind that I have no idea how that would work) Lots of thoughts going on.

Anyway, that's enough of me rambling on. Hope you're all having a brilliant Friday and have a very pleasant weekend.
