This is a new illustration completed today. I wanted to look at distorting musical instruments and make them swirly and pretty. The black is a handmade paper cut photographed on a lightbox to give the gradients of the background tone. I then took it into photoshop and implemented colour using photographs of coloured acetate.
I quite like how it turned out.
