My camera messed with the tones on this one. This was an experiment with a completely new media, I used oil pastels and created a painterly effect by using white spirit. I like the unrefined look of it and the hands represent the need for women to regularly check themselves for lumps. This questions illustration in that using new media takes away the control I have over the outcome of the image.
