What is illustration 21

Selena/Luna-These are the names of the moon Goddess in Greek and Roman mythology respectively. In these myths associated with these goddesses, the goddess is paired with the God of the sun. He travels throughout the day and she takes over the journey at night. She is typically considered to be a passionate goddess who takes many lovers and who represents the desire associated with the moon.

Done with watercolour pencils and some ink and water. =)

  2. Not back at Uni yet, two more weeks. The moon theme is part of my summer project which was basically, 'do whatever you want'. And I thought I'd give myself a bit of a direction to work in. 3 down, 4 to go =)

Thanks for the link, if I manage to get the other 4 done I might try that one too. =)

    Do you study art anywhere?

  3. Unfortunatly no can't afford Uni now and I have a little boy so can't spare the time.

Its taken me quite a few years to decide what I would like to do, so its the self teaching route for me. I might go to a figure drawing group at the museum or the local collage if any pop up though.

I look forward to seeing more of your art work.
